Matheus Azevedo Mendes is a lawyer, a master’s student in Civil Procedural Law at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and holds a bachelor’s degree from Faculdade Baiana de Direito. He is a member of the Special Arbitration Commission at OAB-SP and of the Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr). He is tax advisor and co-founder of the Brazilian Association of Procedural Law Students (ABEDP).

Matheus is also a member at the Associação dos Advogados de São Paulo (AASP) and the Associação Brasileira de Jurimetria (ABJ), in addition to being a member of the following organizations: New Generation CAM-CCBC, Young International Arbitration Group (YIAG-LCIA) and Young ICCA.
